He hit me hard enough to put a large hole in the metal door, and the drivers side air bag, or any air bag, did not deploy. Solder all four terminals at the wire crimp. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.

The vehicle was not repaired. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the technician diagnosed that the passenger's side air bag sensor needed to be re-calibrated or possibly replaced. Also when u take the car out of park it will not go into reverse!! If you post a recall for a vehicle, it is not vin specific as they are all using the same parts. This is a safety issue. The wiring for the sensors was never properly done.

Service tire monitor lights also came on at same time. The contact stated that while driving 35 mph, the air bag warning indicator illuminated. The contact also stated that the vehicle was able to be driven without the key in the ignition switch. Nothing major but could have been more serious. Repeat the above procedure on the passenger seat.
I think there was something mechanically wrong with my air bags as well as my brakes, with didn't assist me by much if any. It was reset to factory spec. The air bags hit my head and arm. I had service complete the 2 outstanding recalls on the car. This failure recurred for a period of one week. Lastly, even my rv is a chev. I left it in for a few days and it came back out.

I don't understand why if there had been an injury they would have easily been deemed liable and but with no injury they figure no foul. The failure occurred on an intermittent basis for almost two weeks. This recall need to be looked at again before serious injuries occur. The airbag light is on now constantly and it would appear that the airbag system for the passenger is disabled at all times. I bought the car used in 2008 so I don't know if the previous owner ever took it for the recall.
